Before we jumping into the details regarding registration fees for the Qualifying Test, it is important to have a brief understanding of what the Qualifying Test examination entails.

The Qualifying Test is a standardized test administered by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) in Tanzania, taken by private candidates intending to sit for the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE), but do not have Form II level secondary education.

The primary objective of the Qualifying Examination is to determine whether prospective candidates have met the educational requirements equivalent to the form two level. This is important because the CSEE is designed for students who have acquired a certain level of knowledge and skills in various subjects.

By ensuring that candidates meet this standard, the Qualifying Exam ensures that students taking the CSEE are adequately prepared to meet the challenges presented.

The current registration period for the Qualifying test is from 1st January to 28th February 2023. Late registration will be open from 1st March to 31st March 2023, with a penalty of TZS 10,000 per subject.
